Infectious Disease

Adenovirus Rapid Test Cassette

Acute diarrheal disease in young children is a major cause of morbidity worldwide and is a leading cause of mortality in developing countries.1 Research has shown that enteric adenoviruses, primarily Ad40 and Ad41, are a leading cause of diarrhea in many of these children, second only to the rotaviruses. The Adenovirus Rapid Test Cassette (Feces) is a rapid chromatographic immunoassay for the qualitative detection of adenovirus in human feces specimen, providing results in 10 minutes. The test utilizes antibody specific for adenovirus to selectively detect adenovirus from human feces specimens.

Norovirus Rapid Test Cassette

Noroviruses (NoV) are a genetically diverse group of single stranded RNA, nonenvelopped viruses belonging to the Caliciviridae family. Noroviruses are a major cause of acute gastroenteritis worldwide, often causing explosive outbreaks in institutions. Transmission occurs through ingesting contaminated food and water and by person-to-person spread. Transmission is predominantly faecal-oral but may be airborne due to aerosolisation of vomitus, which typically contains abundant infectious virus particles. The Norovirus Rapid Test Cassette (Feces) is a rapid chromatographic immunoassay for the qualitative detection of Norovirus in human feces specimens to aid in the diagnosis of Norovirus infection.

Brucella Abortus Antigen Rapid Test Cassette

Brucella abortus is a gram-negative bacterium that is found in cattle populations. This intracellular parasite is a blood borne pathogen that causes premature abortion of a cattle fetus. What makes this bacterium so dangerous is that it is zoonotic, meaning it can be transferred from an animal to a human host and still remain pathogenic. In humans this disease cause both acute and chronic symptoms, but can be treated with antibiotics. Because of this economic effect on the cattle business and the disease potential in humans, the US has spent close to $3.5 billion trying to vaccinate the cattle herds in the US. It is possible for B. Abortus to be spread froom wild populations of elk and bison into domestic cattle herds and this is why the US government continues to be vigilant in tracking potential cases whithin heds.

Leishmania IgG/IgM Rapid Test

Visceral leishmaniasis, or Kala-azar, is a disseminated infection caused by several subspecies of the L. donovani. The disease is estimated by the World Health Organization (WHO) to affect approximately 12 million people in 88 countries. It is transmitted to humans by bites of the Phlebotomus sandflies, which acquire infection from feeding

Leptospira IgG/IgM Rapid Test Cassette

Leptospirosis occurs worldwide and is a common mild to severe health problem for humans and animals, particularly in area with a hot and humid climate. The natural reservoirs for leptospirosis are rodents as well as a large variety of domesticated mammals. Human infection is caused by Leptospira interrogans, the pathogenic member of the genus of Leprospira. The infection is spread via urine from the host animal. The Leptospira IgG/IgM Rapid Test Cassette (Whole Blood/Serum/Plasma) is a rapid chromatographic immunoassay for the qualitative detection of IgG and IgM antibodies to Leptospira interrogans in human’s whole blood, serum or plasma.

HAV IgM Rapid Test Cassette

HAV is a positive RNA virus, a unique member of picornavirdae1.Its transmission depends primarily on serial transmission from person to person by the fecal-oral route. Although hepatitis A is not ordinarily a sexually transmitted disease, the infection rate is high among male homosexuals, as result of oral-anal contact. The HAV IgM Rapid Test Cassette is a rapid chromatographic immunoassay for the qualitative detection of IgM antibody to Hepatitis A virus (HAV) in serum or plasma.

Hepatitis B Virus Rapid Test

Chronic hepatitis B is a serious, debilitating illness that can cause cirrhosis of the liver, liver cancer and death. Chronic hepatitis B is the main cause of liver cancer and the tenth leading cause of death worldwide, with 400,000,000 people infected with the virus.

HCV Rapid Test Cassette

Hepatitis C Virus (HCV) is a small, enveloped, positive-sense, single-stranded RNA Virus. HCV is now known to be the major cause of parenterally transmitted non-A, non-B hepatitis. The HCV Rapid Test Cassette is a rapid test to qualitatively detect the presence of antibody to HCV in a whole blood, serum or plasma specimen. The test utilizes colloid gold conjugate and recombinant HCV proteins to selectively detect antibody to HCV in whole blood, serum or plasma. The recombinant HCV proteins used in the test kit are encoded by the genes for both structural(nucleocapsid) and non-structural proteins.

HBsAg/HCV/HIV/ Syphilis Combo Rapid Test Cassette

TreponemaPallidum (TP) is the causative agent of the venereal disease Syphilis. TP is a spirochete bacterium with an outer envelope and a cytoplasmic membrane. The HBsAg /HCV /HIV /Syphilis Combo Rapid Test Cassette(Serum /Plasma) is a rapid chromatographic immunoassay for the qualitative detection of Hepatitis B surface antigen(HBsAg),antibodies to Hepatitis C Virus, antibodies to HIV type 1, type 2 and syphilis antibodies (IgG and IgM) to Treponema Pallidum (TP) in serum or plasma.

HEV IgG/IgM Rapid Test Cassette

Hepatitis E Virus (HEV) is a non-enveloped, single- stranded RNA virus identified in 1990. Infection with HEV induces acute or sub-clinical liver diseases similar to hepatitis A. HEV infections, endemic and frequently epidemic in developing countries, is seen also in developed countries in a sporadic form with or without a history of traveling to endemic area. The HEV Rapid Test Cassette is a qualitative membrane-based immunoassay for the detection of HEV antibodies in serum or plasma.

HIV 1.2 Rapid Test Cassette

HIV is the etiologic agent of Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS).The virion is surrounded by a lipid envelope that is derived from host cell membrane. Several viral glycoproteins are on the envelope. Each virus contains two copies of positive-sense genomic RNAs.

HBsAg/HCV/HIV Combo Rapid Test Cassette

The HBsAg/HCV/HIV Combo Rapid Test Cassette (Serum /Plasma) is a rapid chromatographic immunoassay for the qualitative detection of Hepatitis B surface antigen(HBsAg),antibodies to Hepatitis C Virus and antibodies to HIV type 1, type 2 in serum or plasma.

HIV and Syphilis Combo Rapid Test Cassette

The HIV 1.2.O Rapid Test (Serum/Plasma) HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus) is the etiologic agent of Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS). The virion is surrounded by a lipid envelope that is derived from the host cell membrane.

Syphilis Rapid Test

Treponema Pallidum (TP) is the causative agent of the venereal disease Syphilis. The Syphilis Rapid Test Dipstick(Whole Blood/Serum/Plasma) is a rapid chromatographic immunoassay for the qualitative detection of antibodies (IgG and IgM) to Treponema Pallidum (TP) in whole blood, serum or plasma to aid in the diagnosis of Syphilis.
