Salicule is a
portable oral fluid (saliva) collector and dispenser device for collecting
saliva specimens for testing substances in oral fluids. Many substances can be detected in
saliva collected with Salicule, which include drugs, hormones, antibodies, infectious pathogens, and genetic substances,
such as DNA. Salicule is used in both laboratory and point-of-collection (POC)
testing of saliva specimens. Salicule provides undiluted specimens,
which facilitates quantitative detection of analytes in saliva.
Key Features
The unique design of Salicule
features a self-extendable tube for expectoration, a dripper cap for convenient sample application, and a volume mark for adequacy of
the specimen volume.
The simple
saliva collection procedure and testing procedure
are illustrated in
flash clips. |
